BURGLARS broke into an elderly woman’s home and stole her handbag, containing a large amount of cash, from her lap.
The woman was sitting on her sofa at her home in St Thomas’s Road, Stopsley, on Thursday February 10 at about 6.30pm when the two men entered her living room.
The men, described as white and about 5ft 8ins tall, pushed the woman, grabbed the bag out of her hands and left the house.
