A PAIR of dance-crazy Luton sisters are holding a Zumbathon this Sunday (June 19) to raise money to help premature babies.
Karen and Nicola Bartlett, who run the NKB School of Dance, are holding the event at the Riverside Suite at Vauxhall Recreation Club in aid of Bliss.
The charity provides vital support and care to premature and sick babies across the UK, funds ground-breaking research, and campaigns for babies to receive the best possible care.
Karen, 34, and Nicola, 36, decided to raise money for the charity after close friends of theirs lost two babies who were born prematurely.
The sisters are hoping as many fans of the Latin-inspired dance craze Zumba will come along to join in the fun on Sunday.
Doors open at 10am and the first class starts at 10.30am, with subsequent classes taking place at 11.45am, 1.15pm and 2.30pm.
People can take part in as many or as few classes as they like, but the cost per class decreases the more you take part in.
One class costs £8, two cost £14, three cost £18 and four cost £20.
Karen said: “We’ve already got 50 people signed up but we’d like to get 150.
“Please come and support us and help us raise as much money as possible.”
