A TEENAGE boy has been released on bail after a 17-year-old was stabbed in a Luton park earlier this month.
The incident happened at around 6pm on Friday June 10 in the playing field in Crawley Green Road. The victim was riding through the park on his bike when he was approached by another youth. Initially the conversation was pleasant, however the discussion then turned aggressive and the victim tried to leave.
The offender took a knife from his pocket and began to wave it around, the victim suffered a wound to his leg and the offender left the scene. He is described as black with a large, stocky build. He had short black afro style hair and a small amount of stubble on his chin. He was wearing a grey hooded top, blue jeans and black and red Skyline bubble trainers.
A 14-year-old boy was bailed without charge in connection with the incident.
Det Con Nicholas Oates said: “The victim’s injuries were not life threatening but this was a serious incident and we are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed it or saw the offender in the area at the time of the offence.”
