Thieves steal man’s laptop in Luton

A MAN was violently attacked by a group of thieves who stole his laptop in Luton earlier this month.

Police in Luton are appealing for witnesses to come forward after the robbery was reported on May 10.

The incident happened as the 33-year-old victim was making his way home along Tennyson Road and in to Cowper Street between shortly after 10.45pm.

He was approached by three men who ran towards him and punched him in the face. He was pulled him to the ground and held in a headlock as the assault continued. The offenders pulled the victim’s sky blue back pack from him which contained an Inspiron N4010 laptop together with three USB sticks and ran from the location towards London Road.

The first offender is described as a white man, aged between 18 and 21, with a slim build and wearing a distinctive yellow and cream hooded jacket, dark baggy jeans and white training shoes.

The second offender is described as a white man with a thin build, of a similar age to the first offender and wearing a black jacket.

The third offender is also described as a white man with a slim build and of a similar age to his accomplices.
