A LUTON woman received wounds to her face and could be scarred for life after an incident at a Bedford nightclub on Saturday night.
The 22-year-old had travelled from Luton for a night out and had attended the Saints and Sinners club, in St Peters Street, Bedford with a friend.
She was in the venue’s R&B room when she noticed another woman looking at her, she cannot remember much about what happened next but was aware of being hit in the face with an object after she approached the woman and started speaking to her.
The victim was helped out of the club by door staff who also called an ambulance for her. At the hospital doctors used surgical glue to repair a series of cuts and gashes on her face. Medical staff have said she may be scarred for life.
