KEECH Hospice Care had a make-over at the weekend, thanks to construction company Wates’ annual Community Day.
Hard-working employees volunteered to redesign the main entrance garden and replace all the signage. They also supplied and built a summerhouse, varnished outdoor seating and pressure washed courtyards as well as holding a car wash to raise funds for their chosen charity.
Wates retail project manager Tony Slough said: “We visit the hospice every year and it’s a local charity everyone in our office loves to support.
“It’s a brilliant feeling doing something that will really help the children.”
