A 17-year-old girl was knocked unconscious as she was robbed by a gang of men in Luton last Thursday.
The robbery happened as the victim was walking in Chester Avenue at 6.30pm and a small black car pulled across her path.
The driver, who is described as black, and wearing dark upper clothing, stepped out of the car and demanded the victim hand over her money. When she replied that she didn’t have any the offender punched her in the mouth.
Around three other men then got out of the car and assaulted the victim who fell to the ground unconscious.
The offenders then left the scene taking with them the victim’s gold ring which has diamonds and a green stone mounted on it, a gold curb chain, a cream leather bag with brown straps which contained college work and a purse together with a small amount of cash. The victim was shaken but managed to make her way home before being treated at the Luton & Dunstable Hospital for arm and facial grazing.
