THE launch of Barton-le-Clay’s revamped village hall starts this Sunday with a charity tabletop sale.
The hall was recently given a new state-of-the art kitchen, and committee members are hoping this will encourage residents to make more use of the building.
As well as events like the tabletop sale, the hall can be used for local clubs and societies, children’s parties, adult socials and weddings.
Committee member Clare Godfrey said: “We would love the hall to be used more by the community and we are hoping the tabletop sale will be a great event to show off the new kitchen.”
Entry to the sale which will run from 11am-4pm is 50p for adults, free for children, and tables are £10.
All money raised goes back into the village hall, registered charity number 308187.
