INVESTING in a stand at a top trade fair has paid dividends for a Luton company which has seen a record-breaking year sales wise.

Bruderer UK, based at the Craddock Road Industrial Estate, received more than £1m in potential new leads from the MACH exhibition at the NEC in Birmingham after it spent nearly £50,000 on taking its biggest presence for nearly a decade. The company, which employs 12 people at its Luton HQ and Birmingham maintenance facility, showed off its state-of-the-art punching press technology at the exhibition.

It marks what has been a record-breaking year for the firm, which has seen sales rise by 25% to more than £4m.

Adrian Haller, Managing Director at Bruderer UK, explained: “Massive interest at MACH, combined with strong sales performance across all of our product areas, proves that manufacturing in this country is really on the up. The companies we are speaking to are all reporting increases in volume and are keen to find new ways where they can invest in speeding up the manufacturing process, improving quality and accuracy or even simply increasing capacity.”
