FARLEY Junior School celebrated its very own Diamond Jubilee with performances featuring popular music from the past 60 years.
At the end of the day the school was transformed into a street party with children playing classic playground games like hopscotch and skipping, while parents and staff reminisced about the ‘good ole days.’
Historic memorabilia was also on display with the original admissions register from 1952 and photos spanning six decades of school life.
VIP guests included Luton mayor Cllr Don Worlding together with governors and former teachers.
Headteacher John Williams said: “We are very proud of our children who spent many hours perfecting their presentations and dance performances.”
