A 19-YEAR-OLD man was left needing hospital treatment after suffering cuts to his face and left hand in an aggravated burglary.
The incident happened at a house in Saxon Road, Luton, at 10.30pm on April 24 when the occupant of the property was unloading shopping from his car.
The victim was approached by three to five black men as he entered his house and was assaulted by one of the offenders who was armed with a knife.
The men searched the property and left towards Leagrave Road with three mobile telephones and a quantity of cash.
PC Sophie McGrath said: “We believe the group ran from the scene towards Leagrave Road and residents or motorists may have noticed them at this time. I would urge anyone who has any information that could help this investigation to speak to the police, in confidence.”
