POLICE are investigating after a man was assaulted in a Luton street yesterday afternoon.
Paramedics were called to Chapel Street close to Bannatynes gym shortly before 6pm following the incident which happened in Downs Road.
An ambulance spokesman confirmed that a patient was taken to the Luton & Dunstable Hospital suffering minor injuries.
