A TAME 1-0 home defeat to Hillingdon Borough saw Dunstable Town finally surrender the Molten Spartan SML Premier Division title to rivals Royston Town who triumphed 1-0 at Oxhey Jets.
Town fought hard to break an increasingly stubborn Borough defence and had a goal ruled out shortly before half time for an alleged offence by would-be scorer Dean Brennan.
Three reasonable appeals for penalties were dismissed too as both Nathan Frater and Brennan appeared to be hauled down in possession.
