LUTON’S mayor is holding a charity bowling night to raise money for his three chosen charities.
Councillor Don Worlding is inviting everyone to take part in an evening of fun at a charity bowling event on Thursday March 8.
Starting at the Galaxy Centre at 7pm, the event will raise money for The Lister Kidney Foundation, Keech Hospice Care and Action for Kids.
The evening will consist of two games followed by a buffet. The winning team will receive certificates while there will be a consolation prize for the team which finishes last.
Residents can either enter on their own, or as part of a team of up to six people. Tickets cost £15 per person with all the proceeds going to the charities.
To find out more, or to sign up for the event, contact Helen Sarkar on 01582 54 60 11 or email Helen.sarkar@luton.gov.uk. Teams must be registered no later than 24 February.
