TWO women were injured when a gang broke into a house in Lewsey Farm in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Police say the women needed hospital treatment for “nasty injuries” following the aggravated burglary in Holkham Close, which they say was unlikely to have been a random attack.
Detective Constable Ann Ward, investigating, said: “This was a shocking attack which has left both of the victims very traumatized. Holkham Close is a cul-de-sac and this incident does not appear to have the hallmarks of an opportunist attack.”
